MY APOLOGIES for being MIA lately! I have been extremely busy with my work and personal life for the past couple of weeks.

Sometimes you just need to take a break, ya feel me?

This week I also went to Wekiva Island’s beer release (near Longwood/Apopka on the Wekiva River). They released a beer called Tooting Otter by Southern Tier and it was DE-LISH!

It is the only place in the state of Florida that has that specific brew, too. That’s great news for us locals!

I also had the chance to speak with the rep from Southern Tier. I learned that the name comes from the company being a part of the “Southern Tier” of the state of NY and that they are the 13th largest craft brewery in the country. I have had a few of their beers, one being the Choklat Oranj stout (also very good–tastes like an orange Tootsie Pop).

The next event I am hoping to hit up is the 5 year anniversary party for Hourglass Brewing. Hourglass has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. They are going to have limited releases of beers and give away some as well. I am hoping to pick something awesome up for my collection!

After that, next Saturday I will be heading on a brew bus and going on some tours to different breweries. LOTS of content coming up!

I will tell you all about it and keep you in the loop!

Thank you for following me on my brewtiful adventures! I wouldn’t be here without your support. Thank you all so much! 🙂

An unnatural blonde with a passion for craft beer (and tacos). Most people know me as a boot-wearing, beer drinking, make-up obsessed weirdo.
