It’s Wednesday, and on Wednesdays, I am normally busy stabbing beer in the back… drinking wine.
Not tonight, though. I am currently sipping on a Weird Weather New England IPA by Mikkeller. It is a STELLAR five star brew, by the way. I don’t say that about many beers, but it has that NE style down pat, is perfectly hazy, and has a pretty clean aftertaste. I could down a few of these very easily (but at 6.7%, I do not advise doing so, unless your liver is okay with that).
There are a LOT of events, beer festivals, and shenanigans coming up in the near future. I am pretty booked up through May.
St. Patrick’s Day is also this Saturday–my head is spinning. I have no clue what I am going to get into.
On that note, I am starting to wonder–should I start doing videos, for real? I have been talking about it for a while. Y’all said yes, do it. I like to write, and I probably would continue writing on my website. I think it’s good to have written material in addition to other media.
I need some solid feedback, though. What would you all like to see? I plan on trying my hand at home brewing soon, too. Never thought I would ever brew my own beer, but here I am, reading, learning, and searching for everything that is necessary to do so.
I also never thought in a million years I would run my own beer blog, but here I am, doing it. I never thought it would be successful, either!
If you are following my Instagram and/or any of my other social media, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart! It’s early, but it has presented me with great opportunities and I have met such wonderful people in the process. Some people assume blogging and writing about beer is just an excuse to drink (in some cases you may be right), but I just really am a kind of nerdy girl who enjoys learning about beer and being knowledgable about its journey from a small little grain to a pint of artistic bubbles.
In what little spare time I have, I am always planning my next beer adventure, brewery visit, beer haul from a store (to expand my already large collection), or visiting friends and sharing bottles from said beer hauls. I am reading about it, watching all the other genius beer freaks like myself try home brewing or visit local places, and immersing myself in a culture I never paid much attention to up until a few years ago.
Again, if you are here, reading this, or following my website blog, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Let me know what you’d like to see, here or on my Instagram (more reviews, reviews on breweries, my favorites, Q & A, how to home brew, etc.) and keep being awesome.
